something so controversal 20 days is not too long to wait
Rich Weiss
02:20:03
The only person claiming “time is of the essence” is the Selectboard Chair.
Rich Weiss
02:20:34
Then construction starts next fall.
Rich Weiss
02:22:41
Removing the parking piece would make everyone happy.
Rich Weiss
02:23:39
Has the SSA been notified to bring less cars over?
Doug Abdelnour
02:24:25
If cost is a concern, one would think starting next fall would make it more expensive.
Jen Pacheco Freeman
02:24:38
Recommendation was to do a trial run or traffic study..when will those things be done
Kaitie G
02:25:45
Contractors require a 30 day notice on a bid for proper planning, staffing, and to deliver quoted pricing. Time is important here. After 7 years of planning it is time to start.
Christina Izzo
02:29:20
We should not be compromising on safety and accessibility in the interest of parking. If the majority of business owners on Circuit Ave support this project and want to see it move forward ASAP maybe that is indicative of how important it is to the vitality of our downtown. After 7 years, this needs to begin or we guarantee it costing more down the road.

Jen Pacheco Freeman
03:05:01
thank you Amy!!
Kathy Laskowski
03:05:20
You may have to open files on a computer, Bill. Sometimes things don't show up right on a phone.
Bill Giordano
03:06:53
Is anyone else getting an error message
Bill Giordano
03:07:09
On their phone

Is the Selectboard planning on taking the recommendations of the Planning Board into consideration
abillings@oakbluffsma.gov
03:10:41
All I voted against the project at the final vote
Jen Pacheco Freeman
03:12:42
the majority of the TAXPAYERS are against this
Kathy Laskowski
03:13:54
The majority of taxpayers are not against this. You cannot speak for all taxpayers. Some of us are very much in support of this plan.
Kaitie G
03:15:56
Families, those with mobility issues, businesses, members of the community, and all visitors will benefit from these improvements. I am in favor of this project moving forward and support the current project bid. By widening these areas we can accommodate everyone and make s a safer down town area. 28 inches is not even the width of a standard door swinging into the sidewalk never mind a safe amount of space for all pedestrians to travel on especially duing times of year with a high volume of people accessing the sidewalks.
Christine Todd
03:16:44
People vote for the Board who do, indeed, represent our community.
Christina Izzo
03:16:44
Out of curiosity how many meeting would it take for people to feel informed - if 42 meetings is not enough?
Jen Pacheco Freeman
03:19:21
as many meetings as it takes until the TAXPAYERS are happy
Doug Abdelnour
03:19:56
It was Posted at the Town Hall and Post Office on Billboards
Jen Pacheco Freeman
03:21:10
not very helpful apparently
Kaitie G
03:23:32
Well said Kathy.
Rich Weiss
03:27:12
Um it affects mocha motts
Kathleen Cowley
03:27:31
it was stated tonight that harbor was last on list of priority
Susan Phillips
03:28:08
The moderator should have ask if this should go to vote yes or no. Not how we feel about parking. I don't know how to raise my hand
Erin Tiernan (Basics & Eastaway Clothing)
03:28:16
I don’t want to make this long meeting even longer by echoing what others have already said in support of moving forward with a vote tonight. I appreciate the thoughtful words about following the process from most of the Selectboard, and I hope you all vote to accept the bid tonight.
Kathy Laskowski
03:28:57
I agree with you Erin. Thanks.
abillings@oakbluffsma.gov
03:30:48
Who are those 35 businesses Larkin because it’s never been shared with the public ?
Bill Giordano
03:33:55
Can someone clarify that the vote at town meeting was for funding and not a vote for the plan. We were told at the meeting that angled parking would not be lost. The vote would have been different if people knew what they were voting for
abillings@oakbluffsma.gov
03:34:08
You can vote to accept bid but still talk out the parallel
Doug Abdelnour
03:35:01
We all love Reliable and Phillips and that is why the plan was altered to keep their parking as is.
Christina Izzo
03:35:13
Agreed with Erin’s thoughts - hoping the vote to finally accept the bid and begin work is made tonight.
Kaitie G
03:36:46
Delaying this vote would only be detrimental to the process. Hoping to see this bid accepted tonight.
Christine Todd
03:37:40
This meeting has focused more on town meeting than the bid,
Kathy Laskowski
03:37:59
Yes. I agree with Kaitie G. Please vote and please accept
Kathy Laskowski
03:38:16
Some of us have been showing up for 7 years.
Rich Weiss
03:39:11
I wish this was put on the ballot. Just think how much less stress the selectpersons would have to experience if this work was decided by the electorate.
Christina Izzo
03:39:22
Agree with
